I truly believe that film music should evolve from the dramaturgical core of the movie. Film music is not just about writing excellent music. The beauty of film music lies in the dramaturgical and conceptual connection with the film, which leads me to the reason why I am doing film music:
Film is a medium, where the expertise of so many different art forms come together and react to each other. The beautiful thing about writing music for film is the collaborative working process. Film music must always be connected with the movie and it enables me as a composer to discover new music. Music, which I am only able to write, thanks to the conversations with the director and the producer, thanks to the dramaturgical ingredients of the movie and thanks to the creative input, everyone involved contributes. Music, which can only be written
Therefore I don't limit myself in terms of genre or orchestration, but I will constantly strive to create a unique and personal musical world, which resonates with the heart of the movie.
