Neumatt

Directed by: Sabine Boss, Pierre Monnard

The first Swiss series sold to Netflix worldwide. Based on an idea of Petra Volpe (The Divine Order) the series opened as one of the most successful series on Swiss National TV.

“Last year’s competition during the 8th Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) saw 145 composers from 27 countries enter a score for the Swiss animation film Evermore, with the nod going to Basel-born percussionist and composer Michael Kunstle.”

“local Michael Künstle came out on top, achieving a perfect balance between differentiated texture and emotional intensity.”

“There is a lot of attention to detail in the music, which is reflected above all in the high-quality recorded instruments and ensembles. […] The music allows the audience to immerse themselves in the stress and madness of the protagonist and to experience his escalating emotions over the course of the film without being distracted from the movie.”

“Michael Künstle and Matteo Pagamici are a dazzlingly skilled composer team, creating evocative and emotional scores across all genres of film, television and advertising.”
